I Want To Carry Neil Patrick Harris’ Love Child

For those with a little free time, you can definitely do worse,  if you haven’t seen it already, than checking out ‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog‘ on Hulu.  Put together during the Hollywood writer’s strike last year by Joss ‘Firefly’ Whedon, it’s a very funny little experimental piece of online-only cinema.  The show is quite clearly carried by Neil Patrick Harris, formerly of Doogie Howser fame but, frankly, most memorably enshrined as ‘Neil Patrick Harris’, a sex-and-drug-crazed madman in the Harold and Kumar movies.  And now, not surprisingly, he makes another musical entree into the world of online performances, this time appearing in ‘Prop 8: The Musical’ and, also unsurprisingly, he’s really funny.  Not quite as good as Jack Black playing Jesus, but still, pretty good.

that was great – my only comment – seriously you refer to Joss Wheedon as Firefly. Which is a great show, but as for level of popularity and recognition, shouldn’t you have used Buffy instead – 1 season versus 7? And if you haven’t watched Buffy, you’re missing out on an amazing show.
