Now, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of math.

Matt points to a summary of the ratings from the first night of the DNC.

The numbers for the first night suggest that slightly more viewers are watching this year than in 2004[.]

Slightly? It’s a good thing there are numbers:

2004: 18 million on 6 networks
2008: 22.3 million on 8 networks

That’s a paltry 24% increase.
